1. Driver Requirements
To rent a vehicle from Serman Rent, the renter must:
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid driving licence.
• Have held the licence for a minimum of one year.
• Present valid identification upon vehicle collection.
Certain vehicle categories may require a higher minimum age.

2. Reservations
Reservations are subject to vehicle availability and confirmation by Serman Rent.
The Company reserves the right to refuse any booking that does not meet its requirements.

3. Payment
Payment must be made prior to vehicle collection unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods will be indicated during the booking process.

4. Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit may be required.
The deposit may be retained wholly or partially to cover:
• Vehicle damage
• Missing equipment
• Traffic fines
• Fuel shortages
• Breaches of contract

5. Use of Vehicle
The renter shall not:
• Drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Participate in races or competitions.
• Use the vehicle for illegal purposes.
• Transport hazardous materials.
• Sub-rent or transfer the vehicle to unauthorized drivers.

6. Insurance
Vehicles are provided with the insurance coverage specified in the rental agreement.
Additional coverage options may be offered at the time of booking.

7. Accidents and Damage
Any accident, theft, damage, or mechanical issue must be reported immediately to Serman Rent and the relevant authorities where required.
Failure to report incidents may result in liability for all related costs.

8. Fuel Policy
Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as provided at collection unless otherwise specified in the rental agreement.

9. Traffic Fines and Penalties
The renter is fully responsible for all traffic violations, parking fines, toll charges, and related administrative fees incurred during the rental period.

10. Vehicle Return
Vehicles must be returned at the agreed location, date, and time.
Late returns may result in additional charges.

11. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation and refund conditions shall be communicated during the reservation process and may vary depending on the selected rate.

12. Applicable Law
All rental agreements shall be governed by Spanish law.
Any disputes arising from vehicle rentals shall be submitted to the competent Courts of Palma de Mallorca, Spain, except where consumer protection legislation provides otherwise.
